Designing your home can be intimidating.  There are many things to consider, but the process can be made easier by taking it in steps and devising a plan.  Verde Home design services are tiered to help you structure the process and make decisions in a logical progression in a time frame you control.

 

An initial Home Assessment is a great way to survey what needs to be done and figure out in what order you should proceed.  In some cases there is some structural work to be done or wall and floor covering projects or maybe you are ready to move directly into a furniture plan.  Whatever the case, the home assessment is the time to ask questions and get a feel for the scope of the project you are looking to take on.

A Personalized Plan helps to hone in on your style and create a platform for making an individual room your own.  This is when we make suggestions to fit your style, whether it is traditional, contemporary or transitional, and help you devise a floor plan.

 

The Room Story Board is the most advanced step in the process and provides a thorough diagram to complete an entire room.  Each furnishing, treatment and accessory will be selected for your approval with fabric, color and finish options for you to choose from.  The goal of a storyboard is to focus on finishing a room completely so you can start enjoying it and continue to manageably advance towards designing your entire home.

Home Assessment

Cost $50

 

The Home Assessment is your chance to have a professional interior designer survey your situation.  A Verde Home design associate will visit with you to gauge the scope of your project and make some recommendations on how to proceed.  This is ideal for new homeowners who may be overwhelmed by the process and are looking for help prioritizing the next steps.

With the Home Assessment you get the following:

• One hour in home consultation by a Verde Home design associate.
• Review short and long term design goals.
• Survey of existing floor plans with measurements of each space.
• Determination on scope of work needed and/or initial space planning.
• Summary report of Design Assessment with  suggestions and outline of possible next steps.
• Design Assessment fee is applicable toward your first Upholstery, Furniture, or Rug purchase from Verde Home.

 

Personalized Plan

Cost $150 (per room)

 

The Personalized Room Plan takes the design process one step further to give you more detailed suggestions for a room tailored to fit your style and design goals.  With the Personalized Plan you get everything from the Design Assessment plus the following concentration on a particular room:

 

• A sketched floor plan with furniture placement suggestions.
• Room color scheme recommendations
• A review of the current lighting and any suggested improvements
• Window treatment review
• Flooring and Floor covering needs reviewed including optimal size and recommended style.
• Art & accessories review
• Summary report of Personalized Plan
• Personalized Plan fee is applicable toward any Upholstery, Furniture, or Rug purchased from Verde Home for this particular room.

*You may upgrade from the Personalized Plan to the Story Board Plan at any time by paying the difference between the two plans.

 

 

Story Board

Cost $300 (per room)

The Story Board is the most thorough way to expedite the completion of a room  Our design staff will come out and discuss all of your design needs and then present a detailed story board with suggestions to furnish the room in it entirety.  This plan includes all facets of the Home Assessment and the Personalized Plan plus the following:

• Budget determination
• Selection of furnishings and treatments by Laura Walker, Ltd.
• Specific paint color or wall paper selection.
• Upholstery and furniture tear sheets with preferred fabric and wood samples.
• Rug sizing and specific piece to choose from.
• Art, Accessory and Lighting Selections.
• 10% discount on all Verde Home items or services ordered from Story Board.
• Order and installation management.

*You may upgrade from the Personalized Plan to the Story Board Plan at any time by paying the difference between the two plans.

*1 story board included.  Additional story boards are available for $50 each.
